Dear All,
As you are aware there have been posts here and elsewhere dscussing the options for the above.
There have been some very good ideas but nobody has stepped forward to actually arrange anything. Time is marching on and it had become important to put something on the table otherwise the event would have been lost.
You will see an announcement in Sprint very soon confirming that Alayne has kindly offered to arrange an event for us.
This will be at Thoresby in the August Bank Holiday and will be run jointly with another TVRCC event.
Alayne will post details in due course, but you now know when and where it will be

Yes, well done Dave & Alayne.
I kept quiet while the original debate about the venue was running but I did seriously think about offering to organise something for this year. I'll keep that idea in my back pocket for another year when hopefully I'll have a bit more time to devote to it.
A stake needed putting in the ground so Thoresby it is. As with anything it's impossible to please everyone but with more notice than last year let's hope more cars can make it in 2013.

If you are interested, we are taking part in another event the day before. This is a classic car event at Stamford which is a nice venue, mixed cars, a few stalls and maybe 5-10 mins walk from the town centre. Entry is by pre-booking (Rotary Club I think) and I'm happy to send you a form if you give me an email address (we're not organising, I just happen to have forms). TVR EM & SY usually take 30+ cars I think, and of course others join us.

I've just noticed that SCH 2013 is not listed on our Events Wiki.
Please could somebody with the skills add it on?
It's at Thoresby Park, Ollerton NG22 9EP on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August.
