I have sold my 911 and have some spare 7 & 8 x16 turbo alloys and not sure of where to sell them Or for how much. I have looked on eBay but have not seen any this size, I know they have really gone up in value but wonded if anyone has any pointers... I hope this doesn't break any rules and I hate those "what's it worth" threads but I need to know where to start.

depends upon the tyres to a certain extent (but not much), far more on condition - have they been refurbed, repainted, curbed, scratched are they original etc ... Rim thickness is important if refurbed - (I think you can only refurb a max of 3 times)

7s are still fairly common and go for anywhere between £350 and £500 the pair

8s are far more rare and harder to value as such - perhaps £600 and up for the pair

Sell on impact bumpers or indeed ebay

Thanks, I will have a look on impact bumpers. I think they have not been refurbed, they are certainly on factory anodising, certainly not totally mint but low on marks and I had the centres painted gloss black a while ago. No tyres as used them for track day tyres and the last ones were as bald as a proverbial.

Appreciate the help.

Hi,

I would be definitely interested in the 8x16 wheels.

Please get in touch.

Thanks

I believe standard 3.2 Carrera's came on 7x16 rears, with late ones getting 8x16.

The turbo look (or Supersport got 8x16 rears) and turbo got 9x16 rears.

I think they would be long gone by now. Supersports and Turbo's shared the same 7x16" front and 9x16" rear. The 8"x16 was a rarish size for narrow bodied only. I bought a good pair of 8"'s about a year ago for £700. So I have 2 7"'s 4 8"'s and 4 9"'s

Early turbo-look (Supersports) had 8x16 rears in 1984-85 and they were upsized to 9x16 from 1986 onwards.
