(Daft) Trackday question

When booking a trackday and there are two (or more) of you, wanting to share a car, do you have to pay for 2 x trackday "entry" fees or 1 x fee + whatever the additional surcharge is for an extra driver?

Daft question I know, but I have only ever done a trackday on my own and currently considering doing one with 1 or 2 friends, sharing a car (probably a hired one).

I guess it depends on the company to some extent but normally you only pay for the track day place per car, with an additional charge per extra driver. Some companies offer free additional drivers.

For example, if you rent a Caterham R300 from us (BookaTrack) you pay the track day once, the car hire fee once, and a £100 additional drivers fee for each extra driver.

as far as i know you pay for 1 x entry fee which is for the car and 1 driver, then you pay for each additional driver, which is normall around £30
