Bodyshop Damaged my CSL
Discussion
Mod note: please don't name and shame on PH.
A bodyshop damaged my csl and don't want to repair it
As you know it went in for cracks on the floor and i took pictures of the interior before it went in as you know its easy to mark.
The repair took over 3 weeks i went to collect the car and looked over it there was the following damage to the car
1. Nsf door handle is scratched
2. Osf cover strip entrance interior broken at rear
3. Both rear seat lateral trims mountings broken
4. Nsr interior carbon scratched and the bottom marked
5. The back of the passenger front seat has scratches
6. The center part of the rear seat had scratches as does the back of the rear seat back
7. Clip broken that holds the boot carpet
8. Grommets in the rear floor have been painted
Back seats rubbing together and creaking as they have not been fitted properly
Nsf seat back has been scratched as has the rear seat centre section
I paid for the clips and sorted the back seat all they had to repair was the side trim and the NSF inside door handle they got a new trim and said they could match the handle.
They painted the handle and called me to pick it up when i went to get it it was scratched at another point on the handle
They wanted to paint both handles but no i wanted a new handle as the one they did paint does not match.
I was told they were not buying a handle for my car and the body shop manager said i could speak to who ever i wanted he was not replacing the handle.
Spoke to BMW Customer services and they were told the same by the dealer.
here are the pictures of the broken parts don't use them or it could be you next

Shocking but what's the point in posting if you don't tell us where not to take our cars?
It's quite obvious that a mod has removed the vital informational
Not good OP, hope you get it sorted.

The 2nd post on this thread, by the OP, contains a link to another forum. I am not a member of that forum but I can see the content of that forum by clicking the link.
When I click the link the other forum I am taken to clearly displays the name of the company the OP used.
Sorry mate. I stand corrected. When I click the link the other forum I am taken to clearly displays the name of the company the OP used.

Markcsl, where about in Scotland is the garage. That way I'll know if it's one around here to avoid.
Actually, that's a good point. Is it against the rules to post the address, but not the name of the garage? How about the long/lat coordinates
There must be a loophole to the rubbish no name and shame policy.
