Hi all,

For a couple of years now I've been getting ridiculously hot whenever I do any sort of activity. The excessive sweating and red face has been getting to me for a while now, but I don't know if it's worth me going to the doctors, or if I do they will do anything! I'm not unfit, don't smoke (now anyway!) and I'm not overweight.

Does anyone else suffer with this or have any ideas of what it could be?!

Yes im the same the last few months i was thinking about going to the docs myself. I put the sweating more down to me drinking a lot more fluid. The Mrs said maybe i have high blood pressure ( no wonder living with her lol )

Fed up of people asking me if ive been on a sunbed lol

There are things that can contribute, definitely worth having a word in case the GP can suggest or prescribe anything to help.

I did wonder if it could be a thyroid issue, or whether it was because I drank a fair bit of caffeine. I did go to the doctors last year for a thyroid test as my dad and grandad had thyroid problems too. Not sure if it could be hbp, I think I might be too young for that? (23)

I get very hot, sweaty and bothered quickly. I don't think it's abnormal, just your body doing it's job to keep your core temperature down. But yeah, when I'm pushing myself hard, I am always the first out of a group to be getting hot and flustered. It doesn't affect my performance though.

I sweat hugely and am always very hot.

I've always been the same so I don't usually worry about it.
