Men and Motors are running a new series in early December called 'The 100 Most Popular Cars ... Ever'.

The 5 one-hour episodes of 'The 100 Most Popular Cars ... Ever' will begin in early December and will devote a special section to every one of the top 100 cars which the public vote for.

To put your favourite car into the Top 100 There are three ways to vote, but this one is free:

Vote online at: www.menandmotors.co.uk/vote

By voting throughout September you will automatically be entered into a weekly prize draw to win an IPOD..blah blah..

And so a TVR hits no 1

If we want to influence this - I would suggest all past and present Chimaera owners vote for the Chim. Since they are collecting by Type & Marque the more votes we get for one kind of TVR the better the chances of getting at least one car included in the list.

The Chim was undoubtably the most popular TVR ever and many would say the most sorted - at least after the first two years of production

Likewise, one of these days we will actually get to have a chat.

Are you going to Brands at the weekend?

FIAT 500

Hope to goodness TVR are not included in amongst bloody ford and vauxhall. A cracking sportscar should be desirable and almost unobtainable.

So how do you see what the state of voting is, or do we just toddle off, forgetting about it?

Normally, I'd have been at Brands but I have to go to Sweden.

Had planned to be at the Essex meet a week Sunday but that too may have just bit the dust.

Have a great time at Brands if you go and we'll meet up soon

Typical TV nonsense! Popular eh? By definition that means stuff like the Beetle and Mini. Lambo's are great cars but popular? Come on... Rich...
