Hi,

Just noticed this stone chip on the plastic front bumper of my car. A bit of paint seems to have been chipped away. I touched the damage and a bit of paint dropped off.

Should this just be touched in? Some paint seems to have been lifted off on impact, which I have never seen before. Would this need to be broken off first or would this need a professional repair as I am worried about water getting in under it or making it worse. I was hoping to wait for many more stone chips before possibly getting a bumper re-spray. The disappointing thing is it wasn't done that long ago when I got the car.

On plastic it's very unlikely that it will get any worse.
If you're really worried seek out a reputable Smart repairer. For minimum call out charge (about £90 with an hour or twos work included) you could get it repaired so you wouldn't know it had ever happened.

That would be a possibility, does anyone know of anybody good in the Gloucester / Worcester area who does smart repairs?
