start up enrichment

Dear All,
The problem I have is that my elise starts then stalls and is fine on the second start, providing I leave my foot away from the pedel for about 30 seconds.

Following advice I've plugged my laptop up to my emerald ECU (which is dead cool by the way) and increased the startup enrich settings, better but no real difference, decreased them, worse but still no difference. 2 questions what else could it be ? and am I doing any harm to the engine ?
By the way the data logging on the Emerald is excellant fun.

save your map and email it to Karl at Emerald (ring them first) - tell him the symptoms and he will adjust the amp and send back to you....a couple of tries will see you right

Have you tried the initial fuel pulse setting?

Also does the Emerald have engine temp compensation settings with respect to fuel?

Try adjusting them if you have the chance.

Hope that helps...I know how annoying it is!
