Clutch Issues

Clutch is right at the end of its travel on my 98' Griff 500. Problem is that all the avenues I have pursued (TVR Power/ dealers etc.) have quoted me £390 plus just for the parts.

Can anyne help with finding a cheaper quote/ part? Tried AP racing who make the part but they have a deal with TVR not to sell directly to the customer, you have to go through the dealers (with price hike - surprise surprise!)

Any hints/ tips gratefully received!

When I spoke to Richard at RT Racing he suggested new clutch was 200 something, plus fitting iirc.

Got mine from V8 developments, was a bit cheaper than your quote including VAT - AND they had them in stock...

Apologies for butting in, but I've got an RT Racing catalogue sitting in front of me.

The 2004 catalogue quotes £295.00+VAT for a Griffith clutch.
