Hi all

I am new to the site and just wondered if anyone could recommend a good place to get the brakes replaced on my 2006 XK Convertible.

I live in Woking, so anywhere in a 10 mile radius would be great.

I look forward to hearing some suggestions.

have you asked your local main dealer for a quote? You may be surprised at what they come back with wink

Yes local main dealer quoted £208 for front pads and £480 for rear discs and pads, I thought that sounded a bit steep. What do you think?

You can check prices of genuine parts using rimmerbrothers (search google for them).

Based on this you can calculate labour for your dealer. Another option would be to buy the parts and get your indy to fit?

http://www.xjmotorservices.co.uk/ are quite close. The owner races XJ and XJs and is very clued up about jags.
They have been looking after my XJR-S for about 15 years.
Ask for Chris and mention Nick
