Stumbled accross this by accident when my dealer had done a road test following a service and left the radio tuned into it - I don't even want to think about what kind of road test it must have been.

Anyway this morning in amoungst the News they actually reported roads to be careful on as the Police were doing Mobile Speed Traps.

Brilliant if you ask me but where do they stand legally - did a guy get done recently for waving cars to slow down, is this really any different.

Either way hats of to them - Public service broadcasting at it's finest, only trouble is although the music is pretty good I'm not sure I could put up with listening to how much the DJ had to drink the night before - Think I'm getting old!

since the partnerships publish thelocations on their own websites I don't really see any kind of problem, or thatthey wouldbe in trouble. I took care to peruse the cumbria site before a recent trip to the lakes.

Don’t believe the Scammers when they post locations on their websites. They are liars and it’s just a PR exercise. Many of them have an accuracy disclaimer at the bottom of the page.

The other day I found a scamera van out tax collecting in my village. I checked the Northants scamera website and it wasn’t listed as a location. I have also heard of them being at other places not advertised on their site.

Incidentally, the only accident I’m aware of in the village in recent times was when a pensioner left his Rover in Drive and it drove itself through the front of the pub. Not exactly speed related.
