S2 : rattling doors

As the twisty roads in Belgium are of a rather poor quality, mainly in concrete slabs with some space between the two, an elise is suffering from this hars environment. As another topic handles about rattling windows my 'enerving' problem is ratling doors. Can they be adjusted in a simple way ??

Hi,

No door rattles, but HR Owen at St Albans placed a rubber seal around the door catches as this is apparently a known problem.
All it does is act as a shock absorber a make a nice snug fit.
Ask your dealer to do this for you. It may help.

Bert, like Geoff, my rattling door has been cured in the same way by Stratton Motor Co near Norwich. Simple, but it works. As for the windows I've posted a reply to jweedon on the topic "rattling windows and sports exhaust" I hopes it helps. Cheers
