Had trouble a couple of months ago with the battery going flat overnight - got a new battery - problem solved - until today - flat as a pancake having stood for a couple of days. Anybody had this problem or have any suggestions on what is causing the power to leak ? It's a 2006 Volante

Do you have a power socket in your garage? If so get a trickle charger.

Mine has never died in a couple of days but often it's not much longer! I have no tracker, just sometimes a series of short journeys under 20mins followed by a week or so parked up... and that will do it.

You might actually have a faulty battery - Mikey K's roadster did scratchchin

I don't have a DB9, but I do have a tracker, and all the gubbins. Mine doesn't go flat, even left a couple of weeks in the cold. Battery is at least 18 months old, probably more.

Not sure if V8V vs DB9 electronics is different though. Should be possible for a friendly garage to test the drain when the car is locked up.

Thanks guys but I think it is more than the battery. Car used to sit happily for 2-3 weeks without a problem then it died a couple of times overnight for no good reason - so I changed the battery - fine for a couple of months - now totally flat again for no good reason .Main agent says they have had problems with trackers- it's got a Horizon I think - so I have given the keys to the main dealer to recover and fix - more hard earned down the drain !!! If only I was as rich as Yeti - oh sorry wrong thread !

Unless it is a faulty new battery (all together possible, you can check if it's holding charge ok) then it does sound like a battery drain. If the old battery died it can cause some of the various modules to crash and "may" have kick started a drain problem. Tracker aside there are noted service action battery drain issues caused by the door modules and the Bluetooth unit. Best of luck smile this aside I'd definitely get a conditioner.

Yes the S did after running it round the "triangle" in sub zero temps with Rob & Molly

I also had numerous issues with the previous roadster which after much bangheadscratchchin a dealer who's name shall not be spoken fixed it by replacing the wiring loom in the drivers seat!
The tracker also gain a load more functions afterwards as well confused

I assumed they were all copy and paste. No need to hire someone else for that, surely?
