Could do with a headlight motor for my wedge, well actually I just need the plastic gear inside, it's shed some teeth, but I'm guessing ya can't buy parts for the motor?

The motor is from a TR7 albeit with some TVR mods. You can buy them new from Rimmer Brothers but I don't know of anywhere you can buy individual parts unless you can find someone breaking a TR7 - Robsport perhaps?

There is a company in the UK that sells gears for all sorts of motors ( we got quite an unusual one for our lathe). I've got the catalogue but unfortunately its at work so I cant get the name of the company until Monday, so I'll post it up then

Thanks guys, Choppers, that would great mate.
Marcus, it went for the MOT, so I just said fix the light if possible, he couldn't , but said the main nylon gear has some teeth missing, which makes sense, as it gets half way and just judders, but stays juddering at the halfway point?

There appears to be a bit of plastic missing between the screw on the left hand side and the adjuster.

I have a Powerpoint Presentation showing how to strip the motor. Where do I put it so that it can be seen by others?

Bit of a Newbie on here, so I don't know sorry, but would like to see it, I don't think I'm going to need the bit that's missing anyway, the nylon gear is pretty much all I need I think.

the missing piece is the black circle in the centre (i hope). When i opened it up the circle was lying loose.
i can strip the part out or send the motor; cant confirm it works; last time i tried it did (about 8 months ago)

no bother slik, i'll strip it out and post it on. PM me your address.
I've had so many people on the wedge forum helping me out it is a relief and a pleasure for me to help someone. A plastic toothed wheel is the least i can do...unless it turns out to be worth one million pounds...
