Hi there

The Sag used to belong to a friend of mines and the plate is a clue to his first name.

As far as I know all of the engine was standard and that lovely noise is purely generated by the rare exhaust system.

It's just the Racing Green exhaust on the speed six, I quite like the look of them.

That isn't just the RG slash cuts, Keith had some small back boxes made up specially to go with the ends.

I purchased the end pieces off of him but he had sold the small cans seperately so had to get a set made myself.

Funny how people still seem surprised that a speed 6 sounds better than a V8. They have been around for 14 odd years now.

I was here at gaydon where this is, the car was not that loud on tick over but my good it was seriously loud on throttle. Sounded like someone had fired up a plane. It was a deep meaty noise to with loud explosions

It won the sound comp easy and was against tough cars, old muscle cars, diablo's etc

It was de - catted, the rear silencer was cut open the wadding removed and welded back up. The exhausts were Blue flame with the sound reducers out (still have them in the garage).

It did have straight through pipes on so no silencer at all but I found it too loud and sold them to Keith in the first video. These were made for a short time by TVR Power.

So have I got this right...the monstrous roar produced by Keith's car is achieved just by doing the above mods??!!

Sportie, do you mean you still have the Blueflame cans or just the sound reducers, if you still have the cans would you be interested in selling them. Will send a PM via PH but they don't seem to work for me for some reason.

Thanks for the offer but i have a set of the slash cuts on the car currently, always liked the look of the Blueflames as they went well with the car so would look to get another set if possible.

the police recorded 108dB left and 110dB right - all standard Sagaris...

From memory yes, but it was some years ago now and we were always checking out new mods
