I am considering taking my exhaust off my 4l chimaera and cutting the back box open puting some pipes in to make it straight through and wielding it back up similar to how apache has done. I want some poping and crackling as i drive along However!..
With the wisdom on the PH web site I have the following questions:
1. Will the car be too loud for duxford tvr mania in august?
2. I saw that the ecu may have to be dis-connected and re-connected to re datum, is this true?
3. Take it that it will work on my 4l?
many thanks

Can't imagine Duxfords going to be a problem, it's not going to be louder than Shorties Tuscan R is it?
As for the technical bits ?????????

it'll work fine on a 4ltr and it does not affect the ecu at all, dead cheap and does not so much increase the noise but change the note and characteristics

Oh and i have a saab too for weekday/winter mine is a 900 turbo, makes the perfect combination with a tvr doesn't it.

excellent car the old 900 turbo, had one in germany that went like a whippet with it's balls on fire and another in the uk that was slow as crap, if only they spent as much time designing modern cars
