Thanks Alf.

Sorry, second question; I can't find directions that Podie mailed me. Does anyone have details of the route and meeting places for convoy?

Coming from Kent.

Cheers!

Sorry Pod, you've been very quiet recently on the S forum and I thought I might have got away with having lost your directions!

I've now bookmarked the thread to refer back to.

I'm hoping to have the jobs done on the S but if not ....don't suppose I can tack on the end in my tin top and try to keep up?

Currently experiencing a somewhat stressful time at work…

Feel free to come along in the tin-top… although you will be made to pootle along at the back of the convoy…

Sorry to hear that mate, I know the feeling!

Re; the meet, I may be in my VW TDi and I know my place ....right at the back struggling to keep up with at least 40 less horses!

I'm away for the October meet, but could give you a lift from the Dartford Hilton meeting point for the November meet...

Hi Rob,

That's very kind of you and I would consider myself very privileged to be one of your virgin Cerbera passengers. I’m hopefully going to have most of the S jobs sorted by then but if not, can I give you a shout for a ride and the wife too ...if that’s not too cheeky (that’s the beauty of a Cerbera, all those seats and all that power).

Cheers,
Kevin

That's very kind of you too and could be more sensible as you are just down the road from me. Is that for the Oct or the Nov meet?

Would I have to bring a carrier bag to sit on and another couple to wrap around my feet?

I'd probably never be happy with my car again after a ride in yours!

Oh no, that wasn't what I meant when I said a carrier bag to sit on

I meant to keep your car as immaculate as it has become known in S legends!

He always insists thats because the road he lives on is such a state he needs to clean it all the time.

It may be a beauty but Pies is a driver not a polisher
