I have had my 996 C4S a year, love the car. In my first year I have replaced rear discs and pads, new rads and condensers, coil packs. After a nice drive I noticed some fluid on the drive I took the car to Porsche Hatfield as they had done previous work, they found one of the brake lines leaking at the back of the car, lucky enough the short one, however they recommended that I replace both this involves taking out the engine, I have declined and just getting the one that is leaking replaced. Just after any advice if I am doing the right thing and could anyone recommend an independent for the future.

I may be wrong, but I would imagine an old skool mechanic could make one up in situ. I used to do it on old Escorts back in the day, it just depends how tortuous the route is.
