I have found lots of threads about upgrading the fronts, but nothing on the rears.

As a ball park, what would I bee looking at do this upgrade and who (from experience / recommendation) can do a good job of it?

Finally, I've seen the thread on Spiders below - is this only relating to used wheels or can't you buy new ones any more to upgrade?

Cheers everyone.

Zertec afterburners were the weapon of choice a while back. TVR then copied them. Now anything seems to go (Lexus lights anyone ) Personally I don't mind the good 'ol Fiesta oringials

As arcbeer has mentioned. Zertec is usually the poeple who do this. However, cant get on their website.
Mines got them on, but they were on the car when I bought it.

Sir Clive has dissapeared off the face of the earth!

I'd recommend completely smoothed rears, and then lights in a straight-line cluster on either side...

hmmmm.... that gives me an idea now - very Project 12/7'esque!

I went for the Quadconversion ones, as they didnt look too busy for me..

Cost £289+vat and carriage plus a can of spray cos they come with black surrounds as standard...took about 2 hours of "inside boot work"...easy!

Can be found here www.quadconversions.com/tvr_chimaera_and_cerbera_led_aft.htm or by calling 01132 685 725

Always good to see all the options.....

Tatlow's Cerb has a custom rear light arrangement that looks really nice. Pics on various threads.....

Thanks for all the help guys, its not as much as I thought it would be to do the conversion.

Is it just a case (used in its loosest terms) of changing the units out from insude the boot?

I assumed that the perspex cover on the outside had to be removed etc

With regards the wheels, I cant seem to find any new spiders either, but have been told that they should be available in the next few weeks.

Apparently, TVR now recommend that fronts (will 225's) are fitted on the rear too...

the light clusters definately come out from within the boot...and you will almost certainly remove paint taking the perspex covers of...besides the cluster would not fit through the apperture that way in any case.

You will have to pull back some carpet around the clusters, locate a couple of self tapping screws that are drilled through the fibreglass and the edge of the cluster and remove. A stanley knife to remove as much of the sealant as possible, and some gentle pursusasion to remove the cluster...easy

The original badge had become worn looking and full of crap in the grooves, so went for a Leven badge replacement...and that was the nearest shade of blue that they could do.....

Oh, come on Satman, I'm afraid I can't see the lovely afterburners on the rear of your cat for that glaring horrible badge.

If thats the best colour match you have I would suggest a black and silver badge.

In fact I feel so strongly about it I will actually give you a silver badge if I ever see you in my neck of the woods. (I have a spare, very slightly worn one)
