Hi

Yet another 400SE on f-bay,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-400-SE-V8-WEDGE-1990...

Looks nice but has it been on the bay recently?

The num plate adds £650 at least to the price (If it stays on the car!)

At a lowish price to!

Best bit is the colour is blue in the pics but in listing its yellow opps!

Then he has it advertised a again!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-TVR-400SE-/27119361...

At the correct colour this time!

Andy

6k sounds cheap to me for a 400, am I right?

Seems cheap. 12 previous owners though.

It's only about 40 mins from me happy to go for a look if anyone is interested.

I'm no expert but I'm learning fast biggrin

Hi Karl and gog

Yes at £6k with the TVR number plate is a bit cheap, yes I know I got one earlier in the month for that but mine was really cheap for what it is. This car with the plate should reach at least £7000 but shows the market is still flat!

Good time to buy but not a time to sell!

But then again the car may have some faults and the owner knows that and wants rid of it!

What ever the reason it needs looking at by somebody!

£6000 seems to be the benchmark for a basically good car with one or two faults, but this still looks like a nice one smile you have to pay a bit more for the perfect ones, but they're just not selling? Maybe because at £7-8000 you're in Chimaera territory?

Bodywork looks excellent in those pictures, as does the interior. No engine bay pix though ...

I've had a Chimaera and I prefer the Wedge any day. I would rather spend my money on the Wedge for many reasons. Stamped addressed envelopes for the reasons.

I agree wholeheartedly Tony, but the really nice and expensive ones don't seem to be selling....

There's a gorgeous example on eBay in yellow that's been on sale for a while now....

Oh, and an extremely rare 390i FHC....

I've been out the loop for a while, but I'm sure there are more out there smile the search continues

That blue one looks like the one I was bidding on a few weeks ago? Paint blemishes and faulty gauges I seem to recall on the original advert? That went for £6000 then....

IMHO, neither of these are top examples which is why they haven't sold, but then again my expectation of really nice is pretty demanding.

I actually said "really nice and expensive" not "top"

The only "top" example I've seen recently was the one in Hampshire....

Mine too, everything worked on my 350i, and I expect that again on my next one, although I've been told that's quiet rare on a wedge, if only we had the funds eh? That yellow one would be tucked up in my garage right now - harrumph! frown
