Inspiration sought in or near Glasgow

Evening all,
Not sure if I've already asked this, but we've got a wedding at a place called Mar Hall near Glasgow on the second BH weekend in May.
We're going up on the Friday night, so have all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings in which to be tourists. I'll also be taking my camera up with me, so would appreciate any suggestions on things to see and photograph?
Open to anything from insect or reptile houses through to rolling Scottish landscapes and interesting buildings or anything in between!

Really depends what you're into, if its buildings/museums:
Glasgow School of Art - Mackintosh stuff, do a guided tour (think you need to book)
Riverside Museum (formerly known as the Transport Museum) and Kelvingrove art gallery
House for an Art Lover and Burrell Collection
Botanic Gardens
Glasgow Cathedral and old Necropolis behind is worth a picture or two
The Argyle Arcade (an old victorian shopping street)
and you could wander around the Merchant City or West End (Glasgow University/Byres road) and in general the city centre does a good line in gritty architecture - Central Station has some good angles, Buchanan Street, St. Vincent St, George Square (not the square itself, but the surrounding buildings), the old clock tower on Castle Street. Its even worth taking one of the open-top bus tours (if weather/temperature allows).
If more scenery and you have a bit of time you really are on the doorstep of great scenery - drive towards Loch Lomond, in itself having a good number of photo opportunities, and continue on the A82 all the way up through Glencoe to Ballachulish and back - you will be VERY well rewarded in terms of a drive and photo opportunities....or head off up to Inveraray - lovely little town, great drive etc.
In fact if you want to drive a bit the possibilities are endless - how far do you want to stray?
