ST220 brake pads

Hi all,

I've got some Pagid OEM replacements in at the moment from Eurocarparts. They work fine, but they rattle in the carriers.

My questions are:


Should there be any anti-rattle clips on the calipers etc?

Should there be little metal shims on the edges of the carriers that the lugs at each side of the pads sit into?

I'm pretty sure my front brakes don't have either of these things.



Should I just buy OEM Ford pads in the knowledge that they'll fit properly?


The rattle is driving me insane, but there's plenty of meat left on the Pagid pads which seems like a bit of a waste..

I havent got any anti rattle clips on mine and they dont make a noise, im using mintex at the minute.

Ford OEM are spot on for fit and performance, you wont get a better standard pad.
