Trying to straighten steering wheel, loosen nut and pull simple....

Wheel wont budge on splines, tried puller last night (delicately) and still no movement.

Is in normally this tight, removed wheels before with no bother (Apart from my dad removing his MG wheel with angle grinder due to above problem...)

Use a 3 legged or similar puller.

As said, leave the nut on a few turns.

They need quite a bit of pressure. When you have the puller under load, give the center puller bolt a smart tap with an 'ammer!

Used a 3 legged puller to fet mine off last week. I would recommend taping up the boss and wheel to prevent scratches.

Stick some lolly sticks or similar between puller legs and the wheel to protect and soften the contact area.

I need to get the wheel off my dads Chimaera tomorrow.

Is a puller absolutely necessary?

Essentially do I need to go and buy one? Or on the off chance if there are any kind souls in north kent (near Higham) have one I could borrow I would be very grateful.
