Mines the same, 1st gear no chance and some spinning in second unless very dry and warm. None in 3rd unless wet.

My car is pretty sorted too, a couple of other ph member could vouch for that.

I have yoko ad08 tyres too.

It has improved a lot since various geometry set ups and gaz monos but its still alive, infact I don't see how it old be possible to launch the car at all, I've never bothered as it would create nothing but smoke.

The only place the wheels didn't spin when I thought they would was in italy, I put this down to very hot roads and the car loosing a bit of power as it was quite high altitude, felt odd to have so much grip actually

Tyre pressures ?
I have heaps of grip in the dry and a car with a clean bill of health from SpeedSix.
In fact I am disappointed how well the rear end is planted sometimes!

Pressures are something I've played about a lot with.

22psi all round, which I appreciate is low but I believe it's due to the stiffer than normal tyre walls on the ad08. If I up the pressure the car feels very bloaty iykwim.

It otherwise handles nicely. I wonder what power it's putting out, it's a red rosé recent power rebuild. It certainly feels pretty bloody brutal in the dry that's for sure.

Yes it would if they are old as they do dry out/get hard/can crack and will lose grip. My falkens (were on the car when I bought it) are only just over a year old but are quite low on the rear. I can't floor it in 1st without it lighting up both wheels, and unless its warm can't in 2nd either. 3rd in the wet still spins up. But they are quite low now around 2-3mm and the car is running nigh on 400bhp.

Ha ha yes they're getting replaced imminently, though I don't tend to take it out in the wet, and if it does the wheels see nowhere near 400bhp!

They all have LSDs. The hydratrak is just a specific type fitted to some cars.

It is if you're not careful with the throttle. That's how TVR Dean stays in business! smile

I reckon I could manage 0-60 in 4.4 secs including loads of wheelspin.
