...it would appear summer has arrived (and will no doubt swiftly turn into autumn tomorrow and winter by the weekend). How great to go out in just shorts and a PH top with no long sleeve base layer(s) underneath, no long fingered gloves, no windproof jacket, no overshoes, on a clean and shiny bike (that's still clean and shiny) and come home dripping in sweat instead of rain with a face the colour of Alex Ferguson's on a bad day. Or good day for that matter. And no headwind either.
How fortuitous to have today booked as a day off to wait for a BT man to arrive, and how doubly fortuitous that he arrived mid morning and was done in half an hour.

Had a pretty epic weekend, I was on Hols from work last week, had a couple of hours in the local woods on Friday with my ipod flicking up dust and riding roots that didn't feel like Teflon coated ice, spent Saturday riding around the green trail at Brechfa with my Wife and Son in the Sun, we even had a lovely picnic half way around, Sunday rode the new version of White's Level at Afan, pretty good all the way around, till it threw it down just as we got to the new final descent and I was actually pretty nervy coming down it, it's pretty awesome, but brand spanking, barely bedded in trail and with the rain became a 2cm layer of mud over a very hardpack base - slippery as you like - fun, fast but scary.
