Thinking of changing from a 997.2 to a 991

What's the best deal so fat anyone has had on a new or pre reg 991 ?

Not really interested in a true demo model as in 1 owner but 50 different drivers .

When I was ordering my Cayman S my local dealer said they can do about £5k discount on a 991 but it depends on which one, didn't ask him to elaborate on that though.

Was offered 10%+ but went for a Cayman in the end.

Yeah the Cayman S is a 981, he wouldn't give me a penny off but I wasn't doing a finance deal, it may be that there's more room for negotiation on that.

Call round a few dealers and see what they have. I bought a 991 C2S cab that had been registered the day before and nobody had even driven (it was going to be a demo) and got 10+ percent off just for not being the first owner but nobody else had driven the car. It was pretty much what I would have ordered anyway, so I was lucky in that regard.

If i were in the market now I would buy the white Tonbridge demonstrator, you will need to talk to Robert Ashbury about the car but believe they use other cars for demo runs and park the white one in the show-room as a centrepiece.

Lovely piece of kit and up for £85k, if i knew last November it would have been put up at that price I would have bought it instead of the Turbo.
