Good to see all the nice, pleasant people here, can't be doing with people on there just for a fight, I go there for a bit of meaningless fun, sure, my posts are crap, but at least they arn't abusive.
Looking in there its still going on, one day people will wake up and tell them all to go get lost, all the people I met on the welsh meet seemed genuine nice people.
Feel like going back and posting just to annoy certain people, oh well

Welcome spook, so long as you use petrol fumes as your aftershave and old engine oil as a hand moisturiser then of course your more than welcome

It helps if you have a liking to TVRs as well, not necessary to own one, but an appreciation of looks and 'music' of the Blackpool Beast

you are taliking about.Having now read the offensive thread, i have to say that you were right to walk out.
Thing is ive noticed about people like that toratono bloke and a few others dont really post on the forum that much, then when someone says something they dont like or dont agree with they slag them off or flame them off the forum.
This includes some very likeable people, who make the forum a better place (RogerTVR??)
Basically, if you ask me, they're trolls, they only wait until they see a flame war or can cause a flame war before they climb out of the woodwork.
They rarely post anything interesting and get rid of those who do by pissing them off.
In the end all the decent members will leave because they cant be bothered to put up with their b0llocks.
If you ask me it should be THEM who leave the forum and let the rest of the regulars (who by in large get along with each other fine) stay.
Ps. didn't see John R getting involved though, just that mark and doc-jock

Indeed it seems there are some nasty undertones reading between some of the posts, clashes of egos etc. between the various cliques. I do not wish to fall into any one 'group' (or clique), have very little time for the pathetic politics going on.
Thankfully there are still some decent people on who make it worthwhile, I will continue to pop in and hope those that add nothing but vitriol appear less and less often.
All I'll say is that everyone I have met personally in real life (and there are quite a few now) has been sound.
