We have an X3, sent it to the local BMW dealer for a service. Usual list of other bits.

I asked what the labour rate was. £163 ph + VAT = £195.60. F*** me!

I am not sure how much skill you need to remove the drain plug, fill it with oil and give it a wash.

That said I have no idea what Aston rates are but I cant see they can be higher?

14 BMWs and not once have I ever used a BMW Dealer for servicing nono

Yeah, I think Aston's rates are lower.

I used to use BMW dealers for servicing and stuff 5+ years ago, they were pretty good. Nine elms especially.

I believe a certain dealer near to me is around £130.

We have had BMWs as second cars, and I've always managed to negotiate their 5-yr service package into the deal.
