Have drained all the coolant whilst doing bits and bobs. My question is, what percentage mix of antifreeze to water is recommended? I'm using the standard blue antifreeze? My guess is 50/50 but would appreciate conformation by the more educated :-)) mark

I used Halfords advanced OAT coolant mixed 60 water to 40 coolant

Don't over fill header tank ! keep it low when cold then check level when hot ! there is a lot of fluid in V8 and expansion tank is small

The antifreeze concentration is determined by the lowest temperature that you want to protect against. The details will be on the bottle.

Interestingly the Owners Manual says 25% Antifreeze. Presumably that's enough to act as corrosion protection and seal lubrication. I started off with 50/50, but since I've had to drain the system at least a dozen times in the last 18 months it's probably nearer 25/75 now.

I use a 5L of Halfords OATS, bearing in mind if your on a copper Radiator it can eat away at copper being a organic antifreeze. so that is about 40% anti to water in the system.
