How much was the 911 Carrera Coupe 3.2 new in 89?

Firstly hi, this is my first post on PH and probably one of many I will be placing on this particular board as I have just managed to buy myself my first 911

I have been hunting round the internet and am unable to find the price this car would have cost 'New' in 1989 - any ideas? Just to satisfy my curiosity...

In December ’88 it was listed at £38k.

the way the prices went up in the late eighties it was probably £48k by late '89!

£43k sticks in my mind for some reason....

IIRC it was £36k - I'll dig out my price lists from that period (sad, I know.....)
