Door Opening Ball

I have an early (93) chim with the ball set together with gear stick and hand brake. I need to remove the ball but cant see how it comes off!

Any ideas?

I think theres a grub screw on knob, you have to search for it though.

I can feel a tiny hole but cant see it. Tried my smallest allen keys but no good. Anyone know what fits such as flat head etc?

the ball grub screw is right at the bottom of the ball.mine is facing forward,very small allen key needed,about 1 mm /1.5.you need to push the gaiter down to see it
