More v8s clutch advice

Calling all v8s brains!
Whilst presently restoring the chassis on my v8s with the engine out, we have removed the clutch to see how much life there is in it. Whilst there is a good deal of serviceable friction material remaining, it would seem like a good idea to change whilst we have the thing in bits, changing in a few years time would be a hell of a lot of work!
I am however a bit frightened by the prices quoted for a kit, (AP Racing north of £300)I was hoping just to be able to change the friction plate, but am struggling to identify it. Looking at the number of spline teeth,(23) and the width 242mm, it might be a ford part, but am not sure. Anybody any ideas? In addition anyone tell me what gearbox was fitted to a 1991 V8S?

It is a Rover part but 2 wheel drive application - for info I bought a 3 part Unipart clutch kit off ebay for peanuts that was for a V8 Sherpa van - it was identical to the original clutch in every way even the numeric markings on the parts if that helps find one.
The seller had 2 more so I bought those too and sold them on :-)
So you are realistically looking for a Rover SD1 clutch Rimmer Brothers may be worth a shout.
Do not buy a Range / Land Rover Clutch it is bigger and will not fit.

Gentlemen thank you all for your kind advice, I have a friendly local motor factor on the case now with the proper information, and if he can't come up with the goods then I now know where to go.
The difference between prices for all sorts of kit simply astounds me, I know that one pays for quality and brand but my goodness, I had no idea what a premium one is expected to pay if any part description is prefaced with those 3 little letters TVR!
Try an new brake Servo £450 + VAT from a TVR parts dealer, and compare that to £26 inc VAT delivered from Nottingham Ford Dismantlers, second hand but very clean in working order I have their number if you need one, I think they had a couple left.
