Eye wear options

Looking for some advice seeing as its time I dragged myself out of hibernation and back onto the bike.
Last year I found that it would be handy to have some sunglasses however as I wear glasses normally Im alway a bit reluctant to buy any due to the cost once prescription lenses are added, but also and faster sections I found it quite hard with wind getting past my glasses and drying my eyes causing them to water and resultingly having to bring my speed do to stop this happening.
So 2 fold question really anyone got a good recommendation for some sunglasses & is there an option to keep the ole wind out the eyes.

No good for prescription lenses but I absolutely swear by Bolles Contour ones. Because they are classed as safety glasses, they are under a tenner, good lenses, look decent, super light. They come in clear, smoke or variable tint versions. They make expensive riding glasses seem obselete.
Got a pair of Rudy Project Rydon's myself, just changed lenses to a set of photochromic ones, clear to dark, so they're great for riding with day, evening or night. They wrap around nicely so eyes don't water at speed too much. Only complaint is they can steam up when not moving, but this is minor. They also have a prescription insert available.
I have just started wearing contact lenses in one eye for riding as I was getting double vision caused by my weaker right eye while mountain biking (I don't usually wear glasses for anything other than TV or cinema). Contacts solved the problem. Have recently got the RX Insert for the Rudy Projects which are being glazed at the moment, they should help nicely.

I have a pair of oakley split jackets with prescription lenses.
I have managed to chip the lenses though right in the viewing area of the lens, optician was surprised given how they are supposed to be pretty tough, but Oakley don't offer any discount on replacements.
However, given the stone that chipped the lens would have gone in my eye otherwise can't recommend wearing glasses enough.

I've recently gone back to wearing contacts and find it far more comfortable cycling with them as I don't have to tilt my head up as far. Are contacts an option for you, as if so you can get away with much cheaper shades, and get proper cycling ones that sit higher.
See contacts would be a great answer, unfortunately (and not for the want off trying) I cant wear them (something to do with the shape of my eye not allowing the lens to rotate).Thanks for the other inputs, think something like prescription Oakleys may be the way to go.
