Should be doable... I'm down over 20kgs since December. Slowing up now but still more to go.
BTW, as you probably know; nuts are very calorie dense. A small handful can be 500 calories.
Not bad in themselves, but can catch you unawares. Many dried fruits are similar - also packed with sugars.

Granted, nuts are very high in calories but 500. 200 in a handful of nuts. Unless you have hands like dinner plates BTW, as you probably know; nuts are very calorie dense. A small handful can be 500 calories.

)... or maybe further reduce carbs?
Once your body gets used to burning fat and protein your requirement for carbs may reduce. Unless you partake of chronic cardio, carbs are overrated IMO.
Plenty of articles and research supporting both sides of the discussion - it may be that low carb suits you too.

Ive lost four and half stone since middle of jan.
(27kg)
done it by cutting out bread, beer and savory snacks,
breakfast is usually a porridge,
followed by a cup a soup and some fruit for dinner
then for tea a small normal tea, or a subway salad,
lots of brews and lots of water throughout the day
and half an hour on a rower and half an hour on an exercise bike and evening,
still got 3 stone to go, i know ive done it far too fast, but im slowing up a little more now
my fitness pal is your friend, and runkeeper is good as well

Work has a team exercise program going at the moment.
Good for the motivation, as there's a $200 prize for each winning team member, and you don't want to let the team down.
Basically, it boils down to 'do at least 30 mins of exercise 3 times a week, or if you want to win, an hour a day, every day'. It's capped at 60 minutes a day, thankfully.
Coincidentally, I'd bought a treadmill and an exercise bike the week before, so I'm doing an hour a night on the machines, along with religiously watching the calorie intake.
I've dropped 22 lb (so 10kg, like everyone else here
) in the last month.
Another month to go in the competition, I've dropped from 185 lb (probably higher, as I exercised for a week before being brave enough to weigh myself) to 163 lb, and expect to finish up at about 155 lb.

All going great at moment, I am absolutely convinced that I will keep it off this time.
