Hello all. Quite new to this site (been on Money Saving Moron for a while) and was wondering if you could give me some advice.

Bought a car in good faith with full MOT etc. However, after I got it home I noticed that there were big holes in the floorpan. I think the whole thing has rusted and fallen out on the way home.

Anyway, I've been harassing the private seller about it (someone called Fred) and he is saying it's nothing to do with him. He said the car was advertised correctly etc and stated all known faults (which include dodgy aircon, terrible MPG and a bad water leak from somewhere in the roof). Pic of car below.

Where do I stand with this? I'm intending to take him to court, then the UN and NATO etc. Thanks all.

You could harass his wife. I've heard she's quite hot

It's no use getting into a Barney with him, I'll Betty's a trader with mates and the next thing you know, Bam-Bam!

Your chances of seeing your Dino-ro are gone, no better than pebbles on the beach and I guess you're in t-Rubble.

Also, it would appear there's no mechanism for steering the vehicle, and the steering wheel is merely decorative. Sue him. Sue him to death.

Many people have bought an old Roller like that thinking it was a rock solid investment.

I say you rock up to his house with a few neanderthal mates and go pre-historic on his ass.

Looking at it I doubt there's an MOT, I get a second opinion.

Looks pre-1960 so that should be OK.

I told you not to order such an enormous side of ribs and to just have a burger. But no, you knew better, didn’t you?

Nowhere near as hot as his neighbour, Barney's wife, Betty.

I'd go with Betty, but I'd be thinking of Wilma.
