Loan (or sell) him to a Swedish club with an agreement to buy him back at the beginning of the season. Lose his 10 game ban in Sweden, they play over summer, and come back to Liverpool to win the title next year smile

Could it work ?

No, Liverpool aren't capable of winning the title.

Might be missing something here but wouldn't the ban apply in Sweden too? In which case why would they take him if they can't put his name on the team sheet?

Part of the deal would be cash - sell him for £xm and buy him back for £xm + £1m etc.

Bank transfer/cash? I don't know how football clubs do it! smile

Liverpool loan him to Sweden and pay that club in Sweden some Euros(?) for the privilege, and his ban expires (in this hypothetical situation).

I can't see many clubs - or UEFA - associating themselves with such a deal. I suppose the question that needs to be asked is how you and other fans would feel if a foreign team tried the same trick with Liverpool.

Assume this is a joke. He´s been found to have done something wrong and you effectively want him not to be punished....
I hope that he has to serve all of his 10 game ban and learns a lesson from this

I think we're in the realms of the hypothetical here, but there's plenty of clubs who'd care about some easy cash!

"QPR are considering loaning Joey Barton to a Football League club to speed up the serving of his 12-match ban."

Would be amazed (though on one cynical level not massively surprised) if UEFA didn't step in as it could be deemed to be bringing the game into disrepute.

It's an interesting concept but one which would undoubtedly make an unsavoury situation even more so and do little good for the perception of Liverpool as a club.

But it is the FA who have imposed the ban. I thought when QPR wanted to loan out Barton it had to be a team in England as the ban didn't stand abroad. If this is correct then loaning to a Swedish club wouldn't make a difference and would still have to serve the ban when he returns for Liverpool. I could be wrong but that's how I remembered it.

Best thing for Suarez is some CBT to turn him into a veggie. It's the only way to get him to stop trying to eat people.

If they sell him to a European club the ban carries over ?

Agree probably not the best PR.

I'm fairly sure and FA ban has to be served in England?

ie he could transfer to Europe at the end of this season but I think he'd have to face the rest of his ban when he returned.
