Hi guys,

I'm after some advice,

I've had my M3 since January and I've noticed that the traction control is a bit...enthusiastic, I put this down recently to driving in winter weather on summer tyres.

However, in the last few days in the sun I've noticed that the traction control has started to kick on even on straight roads when trying to accelerate from say 30 to 60 (leaving my village onto an A road) and it kicks on a lot.

Tires are all fine.

It's also started showing a couple of Warning lights, after a length of driving, say half an hour or so, traction control on or turned off, the Handbrake Warning light, Tire Pressure sensor light and ABS lights come on, If the traction control is on at the time, the warning light stating that it's off also comes on (it does seem to switch off too)

Doesn't seem to make any difference to driving, the handbrake is definitely off, brakes still work etc.

Anyone got any idea what this might be, or should I go and speak to BMW (and therefore also speak to a mortgage lender)?

maybe your battery is a bit duff...

They tend to throw up warning lights when its on its way out, car has a fit.

Apart from that, seems a weird one.

Can always get the car plugged into a proper BMW type diagnostic reader, not the general one. An indy will have one, also quite a lot of folk on here have one.

I have one, can plug it in if you want. Im Edinburgh ish area, got the software and a cable. Can always see what it reads, which is what BMW will do first of all.

I fully appreciate the offer mate, Edinburgh is a wee bit of a stretch though as I'm way down in Surrey!
