My 993 c2s has got a factory immobiliser. The one with 2 buttons on remote control.

I drives me nuts because the engine cut-off system kicks about 10 seconds after stopping the car. It means that I have to press the button everytime before I can start the engine.

Is there anyway to lengthen this 10 seconds to one minute or two?

You think that's bad try having the stupid blade that you have to stick into the dash everytime you start the car.

Had that system on a Fiesta XR2 a long, long time ago. The slot was hidden under the dash somewhere and it was a complete pain!

That rennlist thread is about the factory system (DriveBlock) whereas the OP is having trouble with the Hamilton and Palmer System fitted to UK cars by Porsche GB.
