Should BMW consider making an F11 M5? If Audi and Merc can produce their RS and AMG variants surely there is a market...

A whopping grand total of 222 right hand drive E61 M5 tourings were built and sold.

They only produced 800-odd Leftys.

I reckon BMW would find it very hard to justify such low sales to develop a complete new car.

I'd be all over it like a cheap suit!

It looks very nice even in concept.

cloud9 Although id prefer an E61 M5.

Why is it that 'car people' seem to always prefer estates to saloons? I cant think of any large car id rather have as a saloon than an estate - same with my friends who are interested.

Anyone who isnt remotely fussed about what they drive say 'why on earth do you want a massive estate?!'.

Because they are just better! hehe

Alpina is where to go for your five door version, not BMW.

Agreed - an estate version of the F10 M5 would be epic.

Surely it wouldn't take that much more engineering to produce?
