Heated front screen for M ??
Discussion
Now I have a beefy(er) altenator, I can use more than one electric thing at a time. Lights, wipers and heater fan all at once is just luxury.
Somewhere I have seen mention of heated front screens, was there ever such a thing and are they available today ? I guess they would reduce the battle to de-mist, vent the car and stay warm all at the same time.
I really want to get the car a bit more winter friendly.

Mike bigland has got one in his Taimar, along with some fancy electronics to switch between front and rear screen to not put too big a load on the alternator.
There was a company on ebay selling them, for somewhere around £175, possibly a company in Birmingham, can't seem to find any on there atm.

For info, I now have a quote from Uroglass
Two options available for heated front screen
Clear glass - £239 + vat + £65 uk del. - stock
Green tint and blue band - £361 + vat + £65 uk del. - 8 week
My current screen is stamped - Triplex, FoMoCo, Zone toughened, I guess that puts a fair age on it, so perhaps time for a change. Just trying to convince myself to have the tinted version.
