How are these so expensive relative to Chimaeras? They are rare yes, but so are Giffiths and they're not that expensive. They're just awful.

I owned one and liked it ,it`s well built with full colony hyde leather interior,they have aircon and drive very nice ..Only 2000 were made .\The price is crazy ,agood one is worth about 15k and you will never loose a penny on one .

I too have an MG and a TVR.

In my case an MGB V8 and a Chimaera.
A good combination IMHO

They just look odd to me - like someone just hit the "120%" button on a photocopier ... also I'd have thought that by '98 they'd no longer be a "V Belt" auxiliary drive...

I like MGs, especially B GTs. I am also planning on a V8 ZT at some point. Just hate that one.

Top dollar for an RV8, yes, but a top dollar Griff would be advertised at nearly twice that, surely?

Doesn't sound like that bad value.

I had the B and the MGRV8 then decided I liked the Old 1860 roadster so sold the RV8 for market value ,only owned it for two months .then the engine blew some time later on the TVR so sold the MG roadster to pay for the engine ..and I was a bit board of it ..The car recently sold for 8k .sold it for 5k some time back ..


Once I have my fueling and ECU sorted on the TVR I will be happy ..just pondering on the past .
