Off to New York, which bag?
Discussion
I'm going to New York in a couple of weeks, then to Cape Cod for more scenic stuff (and a Challenger RT!).
I tend to take everything with me in a big Tamerac rucksack for the flight, but I don't want to be carting that around the city.
I reckon I'll need the 7D, Sigma 10-20 and 17-70 with a couple of filters. Possibly my 35mm F2 as well for indoor stuff.
So a small rucksack or messenger bag? the crumpler air bag looks good and folds down for the flight btu I think the messenger bag may be easier to use (but make me look a little light footed).
Any thoughts or recomendations?

I just picked up an Acme Made messenger bag from Amazon, nice and cheap and holds the 7d with a 17-85 attached, a Sigma 10-20 and a 50mm f1.8, plus space for filters, cards, batteries and a USB card reader and cable.
I also have a lowepro urban sling but I'm only going to use that if I need to have my 70-200 with me, otherwise this new Acme Made jobbie will suit quite nicely.

The only downside is that the strap doesn't have a padded piece for your shoulder, but I took one off an old laptop bag and it fit just fine.

My problem with a normal rucksack is keeping the camera clean and organised, once my wife works out I can carry everything I'm doomed!
It looks like we'll be walking quite a bit and I'd like to travel relitively light. I take it that the messenger bag may get uncomfortable after a while?
