Manx Norton
Vincent Black Shadow
2 querys -
1. is a 'manx norton' similar to a 'norvil norton'?
2. wasn't that 'vincent black shadow' seen an mentioned in the batman-4 film?
[as in bruce waynes garage]
No, a manx Norton was a single cylinder 350/500cc machine with the world famous "featherbed" frame...
A Norvil Norton is made even now by the "Norvil" motorcycle company, (who claim to have bought the rights to the name, but this is disputed) in Cannock, Staffordshire (I think), which utilises the 750/850cc twin cylinder Commando engine.....
Norvil stands for Norton/Villiers btw....
Details in any monthly "Classic Bike" mag....
Can't comment on the film, because I haven't seen it.........
