Sticking plasters

Sticking plasters. Who redesigned the packaging, and why? It's impossible to get the buggers open without wasting half a dozen, and that's when you have all ten digits in use. Try it after slicing your thumb open with a penknife (not recommended by the way!).

What happened to just having plasters in a box, pull one out, peel off the backing strips and slap? Now you have to figure out how to tear the envelope without ripping the plaster inside, and even then the envelope won't give up its contents without a struggle. I end up ripping three sides off before the envelope reluctantly peels away from its contents, and even then the backing strips manage to get it the way so much that they both have to come off before I can start using the plaster. I suspect the packaging is SUPPOSED to mean the plaster stays sterile as there is to finger contact before application. FAIL. EPIC FAIL. The bds' has been on the floor twice and fingered more than (dim recollection of bikesheds edited) ... progress, NOT!

I'm posting this posthumously as I have just bled to f*cking death in the kitchen.

Plasters? surely everyone knows you just keep a roll of insulation tape handy for such situations!

No, this was down to the bone. Staple gun would have worked better.

Superglue works on cuts, you should have used that.
