2003 4.4 V8 Exhaust / FFRR
Discussion
A small hole has developed just before the Cat. Up on the ramps to look at it and BLOODY HELL the entire exhaust system is a single unit, front to back, both sides. That will be £2500 from Land Rover thanks very much.
Ouch!
Anyone know of a decent aftermarket exhaust supplier? A few mins of googling has not found many options.
Thanks

go to FFRR forum - they will help
try Duckworth LR - very competitive prices
just done some checking on 'microcat' - although supplied in once piece at manufacture - individual sections can be replaced as part of service regime
cut points are identified by indentations in the exhaust pipe - 2 per 'side'
to rejoin cut pieces a one piece sleeve is available
this means its far cheaper than you were quoted - shame on the main dealer who did not tell you the above!!

then you might use what I posted
this type of problem happens again and again - its an older car but its still a £70K car when it comes to repair/service costs - wish prospective buyers took this into account
