Had a lovely time with the snotty old Porsche today.
Full wash, vac and wax which is most unlike me.
Sprayed the front splitter so all the nasty (but excitingly acquired) stone chips are gone. Also reinstalled some interior carpets.
Last but not least gave all suspension parts a damned good Plus Gassing ahead of this weeks new tyres and full tracking and geo setup.
Not actually managed any driving though, for shame.

Joined in the welcome home convoy yesterday for Allan in his Morgan as he finished his 3rd Charity run for Teenage Cancer trust (so far he has raised over £300,000). This year his chosen theme was 6 Nations rugby so he drove his Morgan to each of the 6 Nations stadiums, finishing up in Murreyfield Stadium in Edinburgh. We met his at Knockhill circuit and in a 30 plus classic convoy drove through rain and extraordinary hail.
So today was spent cleaning the vette, still to do a stone chip but getting there.

New headgasket, clutch plate, release bearing, sump gasket and crankseal, checked turbo, wired in a switch to fan and wiring in switch to fuel cut off, bolted new seats down, cleaned up front struts and repainted them, plumbed in boost gauge and welded in rear strut brace! Busy day...
On the Saturday, decided to run up to John Sleath, rolling road in Doncaster just to check the Tiger over before the Spa Classic and Nurburgring trip end of may

Thats the sill I just put in. I see what you mean, the photo does look like its straight down! It's not straight, it does fold in at the bottom as it should do. I've had to replace all 3 sills (inner, middle, outer) and most of the floor which has been a nightmare of a job and I'll have to do it all again at the other side. Still some tidying up of this side before it's ready for rustproofing and some paint. Heres a picture before I put on the outer:

Washed, polished and advertised the other one, trying to reduce the fleet.
Do you know, of all the cars I've had, about fifty, I find the Morris minors the easiest to get along with.
