Thomson Elite dropper

Has anyone got one of these yet? I am seriously tempted although I'll be slightly reluctantly binning ANOTHER Thomson Elite normal post (if anyone needs a Spesh specific one, I am getting rid of that too - this one is 31.6mm!) but I am very tempted by dropper posts.

Anyone got one? They seem a bit scarce at the moment!

IIRC they've not long shipped from Thompson themselves (or even the parts to Thompson!), so they won't arrive in the UK for a while yet.

Aye, they've not landed yet, be some time yet. I remember a while back reading an article on the development on them and getting giddy as it stated they would be making them in 27.2. Alas, it was wrong, they are not

i've just bought a KS Lev dropper post. I had originally ordered a reverb but there was some delay on delivery. I'd not heard of KS before, but I'm glad I've got it now. It seems the Thomson and KS are similar in that they are cable operated as opposed to hydraulic which makes things far more simple. Importantly the cable on the KS is seated at the base of the post as opposed to the top so you don;t have the cable looping as the post drops. From what I see the Thompson will have the looping as the cable runs to the top of the post. If you haven;t already done so I would strongly recommend you have a look at the KS. I used it for the first time on Saturday and it really is great. Same price bracket too.
