Hey Guys

Ive recently bought a used vantage and noticed that after some rain fall, when I open my car door some water drains out of the door (inside bottom metal area, looks like drain holes).

(My driveway is on an angle)

Should I be worried about rust on the inside or is it normal for water to run out this small hole? will the inside of the door rust?

Thanks!

Doors are meant to drain this way, ensure the drains are clear and dont worry about it.

If it is on a slope try parking it the other way round and it will drain better
The holes are more towards the front of the door

I had a 944 where the drivers door filled up and sloshed around.
I cleared the drain hole and even made an extra one, worried me like hell at the time, but weeks later I'd forgotten it had happened until I read your post, really nothing to worry about. Mine had no ill effects from it.

Thanks Guys,

Someone scared me last night, they thought that the inside of the door would rust, hence the panic posts

Feeling better now!

Oh yeah and I actually parked facing out wards last night.

The door is aluminium, so unlikely to rust smile

If you hear a sloshing noise when driving though, you need to get some drain holes cleared out. It's a common problem.
