Exhaust washers

Have been using ARP manifold bolts for a few years with spring washers but have to keep nipping them up. I see quite a few posts on Nord-Locks on a search I see a few were having probs with these cos they were not hard enough to bite into the ARP bolts and that stainless ones were needed. Dose any one have the size and material and where best to get some from.
