Got ones but let down on the good condition bit!!! Need a fair amount of force to remove them, esp if theyve been on 10+ years it will be difficult to get a good set id reckon

Do you mean you have got some but you can't remove them?

I have a set I wouldn't mind selling but there're not in perfect condition and postage from France costs 50€...
I can send you pictures though if you're still interested.

I've got one standard pipe but the other had a hole in the carbon and had been sleeved so I binned it. I bought a set of powertech silenced rear cans but don't really like the harsh noise they omit and would like to try out a pair of standard cans to see if they tone it down a bit. It's de-catted so don't want straight throughs I think its tooooooo much!

Once I get my car back in a week or so then I'll have a pair of standard cans that you're welcome to pop down and try for a bit to see what they're like. I prob can't sell them as they're my "quiet" cans for trackdays etc but you're welcome to test for a couple of weeks that that would help!

Odd that the powertech cans are harsh, if they have perforated pipe inside then then can't be much different from the standard cans I would have thought?

eta: I know of another pair for sale around £80. They're in my garage at the mo infact. The carbon has gone a little bit brown but apart from that they're in good condition.

Thanks Dave, it'd be good to try some at least. I know when I put one standard can on it sounded different even on idle. Would you send me a text when you get the car back. I'll deffo pop down, it'd be good to see your car and hear your new exhaust system too! Thanks.

I'll be at Brooklands tomorrow if you wanted me to pick them up for you? If so then just send me a text with whatever price you agree and I can check them over etc an bring them back to Reading.
